FAQ
What is Little Girl Blue?
Little Girl Blue is a print literary magazine published monthly by Emily Nokleby, a 24 year old writer and student in Edmonton, Canada.
Each issue includes original poems, essays, short stories, and film photography as well as work from selected contributors.
How does the subscription work?
Subscribers receive one new issue every month by mail. You will be charged automatically on the same date each month unless you cancel.
Depending on your sign-up date, your billing may be one payment ahead of the issue being mailed. This is expected, and you will receive each issue you pay for.
Subscriptions begin after the monthly cut-off date, and issues ship on or around the 25th of each month (e.g., February’s issue ships January 25).
Can I buy one issue instead of subscribing?
Not yet. Little Girl Blue is subscription-based, and issues are currently printed in small batches for subscribers only. Single issues may be offered later.
Can I submit to Little Girl Blue?
Yes! Literary and photography submissions can be sent through the Submit page in the main menu. Submissions are always open.
Where do you ship?
Canada and the United States.
Because Little Girl Blue is an independent magazine, international postage is too costly at this time.
Can I cancel anytime?
You can cancel your subscription or update your mailing + payment information through your customer portal at any time.
What if an issue doesn't arrive?
If an issue does not arrive within the estimated shipping times (1-2 weeks within Canada, 2-4 weeks to the US) please contact me.
A replacement may be offered at my discretion if extra copies are available that month. Because all issues are shipped through Canada Post, I am not responsible for lost or damaged mail.
